The Slow Food Kitchen
About This Spot
Walking into The Slow Food Kitchen, you’re gently invited to pause and savor a slower rhythm. I had just finished dropping off my five children at school and was on my way to Bollywood Zumba when out of the corner of my eye I spotted the Slow Food Kitchen! I could tell by the queue out the door that the food was going to be good but what I did not expect was a smoking hot chef behind the counter! (Don't tell my husband he gets very jealous) but long story short I had such a good feed, it was reasonably priced, generous portion and came out in such good time that I still had time to eat and attend Zumba! Thankyou slow crew, ill definitely be back with my Gals!! Xxoo

What a gem of a place! The menu has something for everyone's taste. Can highly recommend both the Dal and the scrambled eggs with added mushroom and bacon. Such friendly service and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We will certainly be back. Thank you

Lovely fresh food, served with a smile. Need to come back a whole heaps so I can try everything. We were a party of 5 and everyone enjoyed their meal. Got coffees to go, and they were amazing!!

After two weeks of driving from Sydney to Melbourne and finally to Adelaide, we stumbled upon The Slow Food Kitchen by complete chance – and what a wonderful discovery it was! The menu is creative and extensive, offering something truly different from the usual breakfast fare. The coffee was exceptional, the service was attentive and warm, and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. If you’re in Adelaide, don’t miss this gem. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s absolutely worth a visit. @Beyondthepavement-ADV

One of the best places I’ve been for breakfast. And I go out a lot and been to many.. but this place tops all of them. The smell of the food once you walk in, the reggae music playing, and the friendly chats in the kitchen between the staff who are so relaxed when cooking your food up. I’ll be back to try the whole menu! The waffles were absolutely divine, and my partners omelette - orgasmic! Even the leafy green salad tasted unreal.

Our Happy Place There’s something special about The Slow Food Kitchen—tucked just outside the eco village, it feels like a little sanctuary. My friend and I absolutely love it here; it’s become our weekly ritual, our little escape. Whether we’re sitting outside in the sunshine, feeling like we’re part of our own tiny village, or curled up inside surrounded by sweet flowers on a cool day, it just feels… right. The coffee? Always perfect. The breakfast wrap? A dream—especially those pickles (I honestly crave them). But what makes this place magic is the people. The team is genuinely kind and warm—it’s not just food they serve, it’s comfort. If you ever need a place to feel good and breathe out, this is it.

The Slow Food Kitchen is a healthy, delicious and relaxed cafe that offers a nutritious variety of food and drinks. I highly recommend their organic Matcha latte and their buckwheat waffles. Definitely worth the drive down south and the cafe itself is so cozy with chilled ocean vibes.
